On first launch, enter your name and set a 4-digit PIN. That's it — no sign-up or account is required to use the app.
Go to the Garage tab and tap Add Vehicle. Fill in its specifications, tap Save, then fill in Purchase Details and tap Save.
Go to Profile → Name and edit it there.
Go to Profile → Language and pick from the list.
Go to Profile and turn on Biometrics. You'll still be asked for your PIN occasionally — biometrics is a shortcut, not a replacement for it.
Go to Profile → Reminder and pick a time. You'll get a daily nudge to log today's expenses and refresh your Compare rank.
Go to Profile → Theme and choose System, Light, or Dark.
As many as you like — adding vehicles is free, with no limit.
Swipe the vehicle picker at the top of Home, Add, Garage, or Compare. Switching there updates the active vehicle everywhere else in the app too.
Archiving (open the vehicle in Garage → Archive) hides it from your active list but keeps every record — restore it anytime from Profile → Data → Archived Vehicles. Deleting (Profile → Data → Delete Vehicles, PIN-protected) permanently removes the vehicle and everything logged against it, and can't be undone.
A label for how you use the vehicle. It only affects Compare — a Commercial vehicle with real income logged gets a small 🚕 marker next to its name there.
Yes, from Garage → Edit Vehicle. These are independent settings — changing one doesn't change the others — so set each to match how you actually use the vehicle.
Yes. Choose Electric as the fuel type and fuel is tracked in kWh instead of litres — Mileage and cost figures adjust automatically.
Fuel, Maintenance, Accessories, and Income — each has its own tab under Add. Trips get their own tab too (see the next section).
Three groups: Service (periodic service, parts replacement, repairs, wash, tow), Papers (insurance, emission, fitness, permit, tax), and Charges (toll, pass, parking, fines, driver wage). Each group has its own "Other" category for anything that doesn't fit.
Yes, under Add → Income — useful if you drive for a living. Once you've logged any income, Net Profit appears on Home and Compare.
Tap it in that tab's Recent list — it loads back into the form, with a delete option there too.
No. Every log — Fuel, Maintenance, Accessories, Income, Trips — is saved on your device and works fully offline.
Total distance driven ÷ total fuel used, across every Fuel log for that vehicle — recalculated fresh each time, never an average of past readings.
Logging one named trip's start and stop odometer readings, separate from your regular Fuel logs.
Only when both the start and stop fuel-ups are marked "tank full" — a true brim-to-brim reading. Without both, the trip still shows distance, just no mileage figure, since a partial fill can't be measured accurately.
You can still log a trip's distance, but the tank-full toggle doesn't apply to them — tapping it shows a message explaining why, since there's no fuel brim to measure from.
Total Cost/km includes everything — Purchase cost, accessories, fuel and maintenance. Running Cost/km covers only fuel and maintenance, so you can see your actual day-to-day running expense on its own.
Income minus Running Cost. It only appears once you've logged at least one Income entry for that vehicle.
Every figure is calculated fresh from your logs, not stored as a running total — adding or editing any past entry updates every number that depends on it right away.
Any upcoming maintenance item you've set a due date or due odometer reading for, so you don't need a separate alert for it.
Either automatically, using a yearly depreciation percentage, or by manually entering your own current estimated value whenever you like.
No — resale value is always an estimate for your own reference, with no sold-date or sold-price tracking. Archive or delete the vehicle once it's actually gone.
Depreciation is calculated from the vehicle's age, so a Manufacture Date has to be set first.
An opt-in screen where you can see how your vehicle's performance stacks up against other vehicles in your country, and rank against friends you add yourself.
Yes — Compare needs a one-time Google Sign-In, separate from your local PIN. Nothing else in the app needs an account.
The one vehicle of yours that friends see when they look at your row. It's picked automatically if you only own one vehicle; otherwise, choose it on the Compare screen.
Compare only updates when you tap Refresh — it recalculates your own costs, syncs your percentile and your friends' latest numbers in one go. Nothing updates in the background on its own.
Tap any of them to cycle through its options: your country or worldwide, Personal/Commercial, fuel type, wheels, and which metric is shown. Your selections are remembered the next time you open Compare.
Invite shares your personal code with someone you know — they enter it to send you a request. Match pairs you with someone at random instead.
Opens Challenge, End Challenge, or Unfriend. Challenge resets every month.
Your badge reflects how many friends you have and grows through a set of tiers. The stars on your own vehicle show roughly how you perform against others in your country and vehicle class.
Date-range and comparison views of your costs, plus PDF export of either one.
No — watch one short ad when you open Reports, and everything inside (both views, unlimited PDF exports) is free to use until you leave the screen. Pro users skip the ad entirely.
No — just once per visit to Reports. Export as many PDFs as you like after that, until you leave the screen.
Go to Profile → Local Backup → Back Up. Choose where to save the file — your PIN protects it, since it's encrypted.
An automatic backup to your own Google Drive, free for everyone — no Pro or ads required.
Sign in with the same Google account on the new device and restore from Profile → Google Backup, or restore from a local backup file if you made one.
Yes — restoring any backup, local or Google, brings back the PIN that was active when that backup was made, along with your data. You'll be asked to unlock again right after.
Go to Profile → Change PIN, enter your current PIN, then set and confirm a new one.
The app locks temporarily with a countdown. Wait it out, then try again.
If you've taken a backup before, restoring it brings your old PIN back along with your data. If you haven't, your PIN can't be recovered — you'll need to delete your local data and start fresh.
It's a periodic safety check, so you never fully lose track of your real PIN by relying only on biometrics.
One thing: skipping the ad on Compare's Refresh and on opening Reports. Every other feature — unlimited vehicles, Google Cloud Backup, Reports and PDF exports — is free for everyone regardless of Pro.
Yes, billed annually.
Only for Refresh and Reports, and even then it's just one short ad per use.
Go to Profile → Membership → Restore Purchase. It's verified against the Play Store/App Store account signed into that device.
No — Garage, logging, Home, Reports (once unlocked), and local Backup/Restore all work fully offline. Google Backup, Compare, and ads need a connection.
Your vehicle and expense records stay on your device and are never sent anywhere — except the comparison figures you explicitly opt into sharing on Compare, and even then, never your raw records.
Go to Profile → Delete Account (PIN-protected). This permanently wipes every local record and resets the app to first launch. It doesn't touch your Google Drive backups, and you choose separately whether to also remove your Compare data.
